Beacon Hill’s client, a national plaintiffs’ litigation boutique, is seeking experienced contract attorneys to assist in an upcoming mass arbitration wage & hour matter. This is a highly active arbitration role-you’ll be the one conducting the arbitration, not just assisting behind the scenes. This is an excellent opportunity for associates looking to sharpen their litigation skills or experienced attorneys seeking more front-line experience, all while working alongside a collaborative and supportive team.
- Location: Remote (candidates must be located in the following states: AZ, CA, HI, NV, NM, OR, UT, or WA)
- Start: October-December
- Estimated Duration: TBD (Concurrent employment not permitted)
- Hours: Likely 40 hours per week
- Hourly pay: $65-$70/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S jurisdiction
- 3+ years of litigation experience, including:
- Taking and/or defending depositions
- Trial or arbitration experience (e.g., opening/closing arguments, motion practice, witness examination)
- Significant involvement in trial preparation
- *Please note, candidates without deposition, trial preparation, and arbitration experience are not a fit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (writing sample required).
- Ability to think quickly, adapt in real time, and contribute strategically
Responsibilities:
- Conducting arbitrations in front of an arbitrator via Zoom
- Taking witnesses
- Arguing motions
