What You’ll Do
Operational Excellence & Reliability
Ensure core IT systems and services run smoothly and consistently in a demanding, always-on environment
- Oversee infrastructure operations including networks, systems, and on-site technologies
- Drive fast, structured response to incidents and prioritize restoration of critical services
- Identify trends and implement improvements to prevent recurring issues
Team Leadership & Vendor Coordination
Lead and guide a local IT team while managing external partners
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on service quality
- Coordinate vendors and service providers to meet performance expectations
- Support team development and establish clear priorities aligned to business goals
Service Delivery & User Experience
Act as a key technology partner to the business
- Ensure employees have reliable tools, devices, and collaboration technologies
- Partner with stakeholders to improve service delivery and user satisfaction
- Support and enhance technologies used in production, labs, and office environments
Enterprise Alignment & Governance
Bridge site needs with broader organizational IT standards
- Support rollout and adoption of enterprise systems and initiatives
- Participate in governance processes such as security reviews, audits, and compliance efforts
- Contribute to hardware lifecycle planning, procurement decisions, and asset management
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
Drive modernization and cost optimization efforts
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process or technology changes
- Support implementation of new tools, upgrades, and transformation initiatives
- Promote a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement across the site
What You Bring
- Experience leading IT operations in a complex, fast-moving environment (often within manufacturing or similar settings)
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, end-user technologies, and business-critical systems
- Proven ability to manage incidents, prioritize effectively, and stay composed under pressure
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at various levels
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Familiarity with managing vendors, budgets, and service performance

- Exposure to IT service management practices or frameworks (e.g., ITIL concepts)
