What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a group of engineers and technical leads across multiple focus areas
- Stay engaged in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code-level reviews when needed
- Foster a team culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
Systems & Platform Ownership
- Guide the evolution of search platforms, data pipelines, and intelligent workflow systems
- Drive improvements in scalability, reliability, and overall system performance
- Support the development of AI-enabled capabilities for data processing and decision support
Delivery & Execution
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across teams by aligning priorities and removing blockers
- Define clear ownership across services, workflows, and system components
- Balance new feature development with platform improvements and long-term sustainability
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business workflows into effective technical solutions
- Engage with users to better understand how systems are used in real-world scenarios
- Communicate progress, trade-offs, and technical direction in a clear and actionable way
What You Bring
- Experience leading software engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on
- Background working with systems such as search platforms, data pipelines, or transactional systems
- Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based environments
- Exposure to building or supporting data-driven or AI-enabled applications
- Ability to connect technical design with user needs and business processes
- Comfort operating in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where ownership is expected
Candidates with a mix of individual contributor and leadership experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern search approaches such as semantic or vector search
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven features or intelligent automation workflows
- Familiarity with document processing, OCR, or data extraction systems
