What You’ll Do
-
Assist in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and functional capacities to determine strengths, limitations, and treatment needs

Support all phases of physical therapy treatment, including therapeutic exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living

Observe patients during treatment sessions and report progress, concerns, or changes to the supervising Physical Therapist

Collaborate with staff and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to exchange information, support treatment planning, and ensure continuity of care
Requirements
-
Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
-
Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in New York State
-
CPR and First Aid certification
