Compounding Pharmacy Technician
We’re seeking a Production Technician to support sterile and non‑sterile compounding, and prescription fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Pennsylvania State Pharmacy Technician Registration / Certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least some job‑related experience (12+ months preferred)
- Knowledge of compounding pharmacy software and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with pharmacists and technicians
Job Description:
- Prepare sterile and non‑sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision
- Accurately interpret prescriptions, complete documentation, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Perform aseptic techniques, handle hazardous and non‑hazardous drugs safely, and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment
- Support prescription fulfillment, batch compounding, labeling, inventory management, and recordkeeping
- Participate in quality control processes, environmental monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
Available shifts:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p EST
- Monday – Friday, 10:30a – 7:00p EST
