Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active Massachusetts RN license required
- 5+ years of nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred
- 2+ years of school nursing experience preferred (independent school experience a plus)
- Current BLS and First Aid/CPR certifications; strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
Job Duties
- Manage daily Health Office operations, providing first aid, assessments, medication administration, and emergency response for students
- Develop and manage Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and support students with chronic conditions, injuries, and mental health needs
- Maintain accurate, compliant health records, monitor immunizations, and ensure adherence to state regulations and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with faculty, families, counselors, and wellness team members to support student health, accommodations, and care coordination
- Provide health education, assist with staff training (e.g., EpiPen use), and support school-wide safety and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Coordinate health planning for field trips and school travel, including medication prep, documentation, and on-site care as needed
- Support summer camp health services, transitioning to a more reactive care model during non-academic months

- Schedule:
- Academic year: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Summer camp: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
