Filling Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a Filling Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment within a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role focuses on accurately filling and packaging medication orders, maintaining organized workstations, supporting inventory activities, and helping ensure prescriptions are prepared for timely shipment to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process prescriptions at designated filling stations along a conveyor system.
• Package completed medication orders for timely and accurate shipment to patients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked filling station.
• Support inventory activities, including receiving and stocking pharmacy supplies.
• Monitor workstation queues and work toward daily pharmacy production goals.
• Perform quality assurance checks to confirm orders meet patient and regulatory standards.
• Communicate with internal team members to help resolve order or patient-related issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy environment required, with 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain state Pharmacy Technician registration if not already registered; certification is preferred.

Schedule & Additional Information

Two shift options are available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday night through Friday morning, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
• Pay Range: $19-$20/hour, based on experience
• Work Environment: Onsite pharmacy fulfillment center in Valley View, Ohio
