Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT)
Location: Los Angeles, CA Area (Primarily Remote with Local Response Responsibilities as Needed)

Requirements
- Active California licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical behavioral health, social work, case management, or crisis intervention experience.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to oversee and mentor MSW social work interns.
- Ability to provide telephonic support and deploy in person within the service area when clinical situations require onsite intervention.
Job Duties
- Provide clinical oversight, consultation, and guidance to multidisciplinary response teams serving individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Support case management activities through assessment, care planning, crisis intervention, and connections to community resources.
- Respond telephonically and, when necessary, deploy onsite to assist with behavioral health and social service needs.
- Supervise and mentor MSW social work interns while supporting professional development and service delivery quality.
- Assist with de-escalation and stabilization efforts using trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.
- Collaborate with city agencies, community partners, and service providers to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
- Support program goals focused on reducing interactions between homelessness and the criminal justice system through preventive interventions and resource coordination.
Additional Information
Schedule: Approximately 5 hours per week initially, with potential to increase up to 20 hours per week based on program needs. Flexible scheduling available.
Work Environment: Primarily remote position with occasional onsite responsibilities within the greater Los Angeles area as needed.
Compensation: $50.00/hr.
Program Focus: This role supports a community response initiative serving individuals experiencing homelessness through crisis response, case management, resource linkage, and trauma-informed interventions as an alternative to law enforcement response for eligible non-violent incidents.
