Lead / Senior Design Systems Designer (Figma, Templates, Creative Automation)
Role Overview
Looking for
- A designer who has built and owned design systems, not just contributed to them
- Strong experience creating scalable templates for high-volume production
- Deep expertise in Figma (components, variants, libraries, structure)
- Experience working in automation-driven or data-connected design workflows
- Background in digital advertising, performance marketing, or large-scale creative production
What This Role Is Not
- Not focused on campaign or concept design
- Not a brand or marketing creative role
- Not a pure UI/UX product design position
- Not focused on one-off asset creation
The primary focus is not campaign design, but rather owning and evolving design systems and templates that enable high-volume, globally scaled production.
The team is seeking someone who can own design system integrity and scalability, not just execute design tasks

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of legacy Photoshop-based templates into Figma, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability
- Build, maintain, and evolve design systems and template libraries used across digital advertising placements
- Partner with design leadership to create standardized templates for new placements, specs, and channel partners
- Ensure all design components are structured, named, and mapped correctly to support automation workflows
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enable seamless integration between Figma and Airtable
- Maintain and continuously improve systems to support automation, localization, and high-volume production
- Uphold strict brand consistency and pixel-perfect execution across all templates
Must-Have Qualifications
- Senior-level designer with deep expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop required)
- Proven experience building and managing design systems, not just using them
- Strong background in template creation, standardization, and scalability
- Experience working with structured design systems that support automation or dynamic content workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially in component structure, naming conventions, and system logic
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and production teams
- Strong understanding of brand consistency and governance at scale
- Experience with Airtable or similar tools supporting automated workflows
- Exposure to performance marketing or digital advertising environments
- Background in media, entertainment, or streaming platforms
- Familiarity with automation workflows connecting design systems to data inputs
- Exposure to AI-driven workflows (not required but a plus)
Portfolio Expectations
- Demonstrated experience with design systems and template libraries
- Examples showcasing brand consistency across multiple assets and formats
- Work that reflects scalable design thinking, not just one-off creative execution
- Evidence of structured, system-driven design approaches
Work Environment & Scope
- Focus on performance marketing creative, including digital ads across display, web, social, and connected TV platforms (e.g., Roku, Amazon, Samsung)
- Templates must support multiple placements and formats while maintaining consistent brand standards
- High attention to detail required due to integration with automation systems
