Category Strategy Manager – Streaming & Digital Video Advertising

Overview
Seeking a Category Strategy Manager to drive category and client strategy across streaming and digital video advertising. This role partners with Sales, Research, Data & Measurement, and Marketing teams to develop data-driven narratives that increase ad revenue across CTV and streaming platforms.
This is a strategic, measurement-focused role requiring deep experience in streaming ecosystems, cross-platform attribution, and audience-based buying.
Must Haves (Required)
- 3-5+ years of experience in streaming, Connected TV (CTV), or digital video advertising
- Experience at one or more of the following companies:
Roku, YouTube, Google, Meta, Facebook, Amazon, Paramount or similar streaming-first platforms - Strong measurement background (brand lift, sales lift, attribution, app installs, engagement, attention metrics)
- Experience in multi-platform media planning, buying, and strategy
- Deep understanding of addressable, data-driven, audience-based buying solutions
- Hands-on experience with media and measurement tools such as:
- Nielsen Media Impact
- Nielsen NPower
- Comscore
- Cross-platform attribution vendors
- Ability to analyze competitive media spending and category trends
- Strong presentation skills with ability to build go-to-market narratives
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
- Self-starter who operates effectively in fast-paced environments
What You’ll Do
- Develop category strategies focused on streaming and digital video advertising
- Create compelling, insight-driven selling stories using audience data and measurement insights
- Partner with Sales, Research, Marketing, and Data teams to develop go-to-market presentations
- Leverage measurement tools to quantify campaign effectiveness and ROI
- Analyze business trends, consumer media trends, and competitive spending
- Strengthen the value proposition of streaming advertising through automation and data-driven solutions
- Translate category intelligence into actionable revenue-driving strategies
Preferred
- 5+ years of streaming/digital video advertising experience
- Experience in sales strategy or media strategy roles within streaming platforms
- Advanced knowledge of cross-platform effectiveness measurement
