Principal Learning & Development Advisor – Last Mile Training Optimization

Overview
Looking for a senior L&D advisor to lead a short-term engagement focused on optimizing Last Mile training within a warehouse operations environment. The advisor will audit current training, assess tools and workflows, and deliver a strategic roadmap to enhance training effectiveness and technology integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing Last Mile training programs and operational workflows.
- Conduct stakeholder discovery to identify gaps and improvement areas.
- Assess VR/AR tools, dashboards, and gamification components.
- Recommend process, technology, and training optimizations.
- Advise on advanced training concepts (AI, holograms, motion tracking).
- Present executive-level findings and a Q1 training optimization roadmap.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in L&D advisory, training strategy, or workforce enablement.
- Background in warehouse operations, logistics, or Last Mile training.
- Experience with immersive learning tech (VR/AR, motion tracking, simulations, dashboards).
- Familiarity with AI-driven training and gamification strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion capture or 3D tracking tools.
- Exposure to warehouse training modernization or operational transformation projects.
