Senior Technical Program Manager – Identity & Platform
Overview
Lead-level Technical Program Manager supporting large-scale identity and platform initiatives within a complex, multi-team engineering environment. This role is highly visible and requires strong technical aptitude, disciplined delivery execution, and the ability to drive alignment across product, engineering, and platform teams. Experience working on backend, API-driven, or identity-adjacent platforms is strongly preferred.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience leading large-scale, highly technical programs in complex engineering environments
- Proven experience supporting backend, API-driven, or platform teams (identity experience strongly preferred)
- Proven success managing cross-team initiatives without direct authority
- Demonstrated strength in sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery forecasting
- Hands-on experience using Airtable (or similar tools) for roadmap and delivery tracking
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high-pressure, fast-moving environments
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Nice-to-Have
- Experience supporting identity, profile, authentication, or orchestration platforms
- Background in media, consumer-facing applications, or large platform ecosystems
- Experience working with high-availability, performance-critical systems
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-team technical programs from planning through production release
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product to translate technical requirements into clear execution plans, timelines, and milestones
- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, delivery forecasting, and execution discipline
- Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and shifting priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Facilitate technical discussions, document decisions, and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Maintain roadmap hygiene, delivery tracking, and reporting using Airtable and Agile tools
- Support release planning across build, QA, UAT, and deployment phases
- Represent engineering teams in program and stakeholder forums
