Technical Program Manager
Seeking a Technical Program Manager with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure and DevOps to support complex software infrastructure and modernization initiatives. This role combines the responsibilities of Scrum Lead and Project Manager, requiring both technical fluency and cross-functional delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly organized, and capable of managing programs that support scalable and modern tech platforms.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale software or infrastructure programs in a high-tech environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project lifecycle management (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile)
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
- Hands-on experience managing Jira boards, sprints, stories, burndown charts, and engineering workflows
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills-especially with senior/executive audiences
- Experience with release and patch management, capacity planning, and production-readiness efforts
- Ability to break down conceptual ideas into structured plans and independently drive delivery in ambiguous, R&D-heavy environments
- Experience delivering both Product Launch and Operational Support programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in media, entertainment, or ad tech environments
- Understanding of software development and infrastructure deployment across hybrid teams
- Formal certifications in Agile, PMP, or SAFe (preferred but not required)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of large-scale, strategic, and technically complex software infrastructure programs
- Partner with engineers and DevOps teams to coordinate sprint planning, release cycles, patch management, and operational readiness
- Develop and maintain program timelines, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure milestone delivery
- Drive transparency across all project phases-status, risks, budgets, capacity planning, and metrics
- Serve as the communication hub across stakeholders, including technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team-of-teams coordination as needed
- Track program KPIs, proactively resolve blockers, and support delivery from inception to completion
- Maintain a strong understanding of architecture, CI/CD workflows, infrastructure-as-code, and cross-system interactions
- Navigate ambiguous requirements and R&D environments by asking the right questions and taking initiative
- Work closely with production and modernization teams, with the ability to adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related) required
