Beacon Hill Legal’s client, an AmLaw 100 firm located in Lower Manhattan, is seeking a Temporary Facilities Assistant for a long-term contract coverage.
Candidates must be able to commute to the office in Lower Manhattan five times a week and be comfortable working overtime on an as needed basis. Pay rate is dependent on experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Maintain visiting attorney offices, stock proper supplies and ensure offices are kept tidy
- Replace light bulbs; perform minor repairs and housekeeping duties
- Maintain fitness center, including replenishment of towels and locker room supplies.
- Assist Facilities Manager in issuing temporary access cards and entering information into database; accompany vendors through office; other ad hoc requests as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to commute to the firm’s office five times a week.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Available to work the hours of 10:00-6:00pm
- Flexibility for overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to use basic tools such as screwdriver, wrench and hammer.
- Ability to use office equipment including computers, printers and telephones.
