Beacon Hill Legal’s client, a boutique law firm located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Legal Admin Coordinator for a temp-perm assignment. The coordinator will be responsible for performing tasks and procedures to support the firm’s attorneys as well as assist with HR-related administrative tasks. This is an onsite role that will require the person to commute to the office daily.
Responsibilities include
- Draft, edit, and format various legal documents
- Monitor and handle incoming administrative requests thru the firm’s ticketing portal
- Coordinate/book travel/conference registrations
- Maintaining the firm calendar
- Assist Human Resources with CLE records management
- Communicate with outside vendors to schedule repairs and/or maintenance for office equipment
- Act as the backup Office Coordinator as needed, which requires answering phones and occasionally sitting at the front desk to greet visitors and handle incoming deliveries
- File and organize records, invoices, service orders, and COIs
Qualifications:
- Strong IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required, experience using iManage a plus
- General clerical tasks and data entry, etc.
- 2 – 3 years of administrative or related experience (Law firm experience preferred)
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Availability to occasionally work outside of 9 AM – 5 PM in order to assist with events a plus
- Vocational diploma from a business or office-management training program or have completed an associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Must be able to commute to midtown Manhattan daily
