Overview
Beacon Hill Legal is looking for a Davis‑Bacon Act Compliance Analyst to support federal prevailing wage compliance engagements. This role focuses on reviewing payroll, benefits, and job classifications to ensure contractors working on federal construction projects are paid in accordance with the Davis‑Bacon Act and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship (PWA) requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review job titles and job descriptions to determine Davis‑Bacon coverage
- Identify appropriate labor classifications
- Analyze payroll and benefits data to confirm compliance with wage, fringe, and overtime requirements
- Document findings and identify any wage or fringe benefit underpayments
- Assist with Department of Labor conformance requests when job classifications are not listed
- Communicate clearly with client and internal stakeholders regarding compliance findings
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with Davis‑Bacon Act compliance
- 2-5 years of experience in prevailing wage reviews, government contracting, or labor/employment compliance
- Working knowledge of federal wage determinations and payroll analysis
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Experience
- Former Department of Labor or government compliance experience
- Background supporting construction, power, or utilities projects
