Beacon Hill Legal’s client, a mid-sized law firm, is seeking a temp to perm Trusts and Estates Attorney for a hybrid role based in Midtown Manhattan. Candidates must have 4+ years of experience and be comfortable commuting to the office four times a week and working remotely one. Pay rate is between $80-82.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related real estate planning documents.
- Administer trusts and estates, including implementing estate plans post‑execution.
- Work on gift, estate, and generation‑skipping transfer tax matters as applicable.
- Assist with the transfer of cooperative apartments, condominiums, and real estate to and from trusts and estates.
- Collaborate with a fast‑paced Trusts and Estates team on a multi‑faceted practice.
Qualifications
- Must be admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing
- Ability to commute to the office in Midtown Manhattan four days per week, with one remote day.
- 4+ years of Trusts and Estates experience required.
- Strong background in estate planning and drafting wills and trusts.
- Experience with trust and estate administration.
- Understanding of gift, estate, and generation‑skipping transfer taxes.
- Experience with real estate transfers involving trusts and estates preferred.
- Familiarity with InterActive LegalSuite is a plus.
