The role over all is a split between two things. The first is a standard Engineering Tech Test position supporting Electromechancial testing and the other is a lab manager role focused on lab organization and lab documentation. This location is manufacturing for medical devices and is an ISO 13485 (Medical device regulated) environment. That experience would be a bonus but is not required.
Lab environment responsibilities
Electromechanical Testing
- Test Bench Set Up
- Lifecycle testing
- Environmental Testing
- Root cause analysis
- Product qualification
- Ensuring equipment and infrastructure runs reliably
- Instruments (oscilloscopes, tensile testers, CMM, flow meter, etc.)
Operational Responsibilites
- Maintain Lab Organization
- Documentation for test and test assemblies
- Creating BOM (Bill of Materials)
