Job Title: IT Project Manager- Epic Interface Integration Focused
Location: HYBRID PREFERRED- Madison, WI (2-3x Per Week)/ Open to REMOTE
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extensions)
Position Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating corporate IT projects to ensure successful delivery within defined timeframes and budget constraints. This role ensures alignment of project outcomes with business objectives and provides leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage execution of low to medium complexity projects.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate decision-making.
- Collaborate with management to define project goals, timelines, budgets, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Resolve project-related issues and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with original specifications.
- Track project performance against defined metrics and specifications.
- Adhere to established project management methodologies and governance practices.
- Oversee project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
- Prepare documentation for governance gate approvals.
- Motivate and guide project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and allocate team resources effectively.
- Foster collaboration across teams to manage interdependencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans.
- Present creative solutions and project strategies to senior management.
- Apply strategic thinking and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Requirements
- Experience with Epic Integrations/ Implementations OR Epic Order Revenue Cycle
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager in IT or business functions.
- Proven leadership of high-performance teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodology.
- PMI Project Management Certification.
