Growing title company in search of a Recording Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis! In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing executed loan documents and recording documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with lender instructions and county signing requirements. You will play a key role in managing documentation workflows, resolving recording issues, and maintaining an organized record system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review all executed recording documents for:
- accuracy of the borrower’s signature
- accuracy of the legal description
- proper notary execution as required by each state
- Confirm that all recording documents meet lender requirements.
- Submit recordable documents to the appropriate county via e-recording or by mailing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as underwriting guideline matrix, lender’s instructions, trust agreements, and purchase contracts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and audiences.
