Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a U.S. licensed Patent Litigation Attorney for a fully remote, 3+ month position with our client. This is a part-time role (10-20 hours per week) on a flexible schedule.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a practicing Patent Litigation attorney.
Essential Qualifications:
* Drafting pleadings and briefs in patent-related proceedings across various forums
* All phases of discovery, including:
o Drafting and responding to discovery requests
o Working with experts and drafting expert reports
o Taking and defending depositions
o Discovery-related motion practice, including motions to compel and for sanctions
* Pre-trial and post-trial motion practice, including:
o Motions to dismiss
o Summary judgment
o Injunctions
o Judgment as a matter of law and related remedies
Preferred Additional Experience
* Practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC)
* Practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)
* Hatch-Waxman litigation
* Patent prosecution experience
* Opinion work, including invalidity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses
* Transactional experience, including patent licensing and IP due diligence in corporate transactions
