Civil Litigation Paralegal
Philadelphia, PA | Hybrid
A well-regarded mid-sized law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly respected attorneys in a collaborative, collegial environment with exposure to sophisticated litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from inception through trial
- Draft, review, and file pleadings and other court documents in state and federal courts
- Manage discovery, including document production, subpoenas, and coordination of responses
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Assist with trial preparation, deposition preparation, and hearing logistics
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors as needed
- Organize and summarize medical records, discovery materials, and case documents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
- Experience with state and federal court filings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Trial preparation experience preferred
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred
