Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a respected Seattle-area law firm seeking an Associate or Of Counsel Attorney to support its litigation practice. The firm is looking for an attorney with an insurance defense background and strong hands-on litigation experience.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for candidates who have handled insurance defense, general liability, personal injury defense, premises liability, construction defect, coverage, bad faith, or similar civil litigation matters.

Compensation: $65-$77/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Position Type: Contract / Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities may include:
– Managing litigation matters from intake through resolution
– Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
– Handling written discovery and document review
– Conducting legal research and case analysis
– Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial-related proceedings
– Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams
– Supporting case strategy and settlement evaluation
Qualifications:
– 2+ years of litigation experience
– Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
– Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
– Experience with discovery, depositions, mediations, and case management
– Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
– Active bar admission required; Washington bar admission preferred
