Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a leading law firm seeking two experienced Business Intake Researchers to support its Information Governance and risk management function.
This is a fully remote, approximately 6-month contract opportunity for professionals with a strong background in corporate research, investigative due diligence, risk assessment, KYC/AML, or business intake research.
Candidates must reside in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, California, New York, or Washington, D.C.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients, companies, and related entities to identify potential business and risk concerns
* Review corporate backgrounds, financial information, litigation and regulatory history, SEC filings, public records, and current news
* Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise research findings
* Support attorneys and internal stakeholders with due diligence related to new clients and matters
* Assist with research involving potential lateral hires, business combinations, and other special risk-related projects
* Partner with conflicts and business intake teams as needed to identify potential issues during the intake process
* Support additional Information Governance and risk management initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience conducting risk assessment, investigative due diligence, corporate research, or similar analytical research
* Experience using research platforms and public-record resources such as Lexis, Bloomberg, Dun & Bradstreet, TLO, SEC databases, or comparable tools
* Working knowledge of KYC/AML concepts and due diligence practices
* Ability to interpret financial information and review SEC filings
* Strong analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive requests
* Bachelor’s degree required
* Experience with legal conflicts, business intake, or professional-services risk management is a plus
* Familiarity with Intapp or similar intake/conflicts technology is a plus
Compensation
Hourly pay varies based on the candidate’s approved work location and experience:
NYC: $43.27-$44.23/hr
