What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the month-end close process and financial reporting activities.
• Lead project accounting, job costing, revenue recognition, and WIP reporting.
• Analyze project performance, billings, accruals, and profitability.
• Partner directly with operational leaders and project teams to support business decisions.
• Build and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while helping drive a positive, collaborative culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior leadership or management experience.
• Hands-on Work in Progress (WIP) accounting experience is required.
• Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system.
• Ability to communicate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders alike.
• Construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other project-driven industry experience is highly valued.
