Will design and build highly scalable microservice-based backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA to support enterprise financial and insurance applications. Develop secure and high-performance RESTful APIs enabling seamless integration between internal enterprise systems, external partners, and third-party service providers. Architect distributed microservice ecosystems with optimized inter-service communication patterns ensuring high availability, resiliency, and fault tolerance. Design microservice orchestration patterns and distributed workflow coordination mechanisms to support complex business transactions across multiple enterprise services. Design and implement data-driven enterprise applications with optimized relational data models, stored procedures, and query optimization strategies using Microsoft SQL Server. Engineer secure API management and traffic routing solutions through API gateway platforms such as Kong to ensure authentication, rate limiting, and service orchestration. Develop modern enterprise user interfaces and application modernization initiatives by maintaining JSF/PrimeFaces applications while implementing new UI capabilities using ReactJS frameworks. Architect and deploy containerized microservices within cloud-native environments using Kubernetes orchestration platforms including Amazon Kubernetes Services (AKS) and AWS Fargate. Implement secure configuration and secret management strategies for distributed applications across cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with DevOps teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable deployments across multiple environments. Engineer high-throughput, multi-threaded backend services capable of processing large-scale transactional and analytical workloads. Design resilient fault-handling mechanisms and recovery strategies to ensure application stability during high traffic loads and production incidents. Develop enterprise monitoring and observability infrastructure through log analysis, performance metrics collection, and system health monitoring tools. Investigate and resolve production incidents and performance bottlenecks through root cause analysis, debugging distributed services, and implementing corrective solutions. Conduct peer code reviews, enforce secure coding practices, and implement automated testing frameworks to maintain high code quality and application security standards.
Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, along with five (5) years of experience in the Software Industry.
