Will build the test automation frameworks and scripts for Web based applications using Selenium, Junit, Cucumber, TestNg and API Automation using Rest assured libraries and Mainframe automation using VBscript, Java and Rexx. Create and refine test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data for manual and automated testing. Perform the manual and automated test Execution for API Services based off on REST & SOAP and build Test Data/Request Payload in JSON/XML. Execute SQL (Basic and Advanced – DDL, DML, TCL, DCL, DQL, Session/System control) queries to validate Enterprise Database (Microsoft SQL Server) Transactions initiating from Front End Systems (Web Browsers Applications) and database validation process. Test distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack like GUI, APIs, and Mainframe Systems like Cobol, VSAM, CICS, and JCL and perform the data validation and processing using different databases like SQL, DB2, and Oracle. Test the different software systems on multiple cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Track Quality Assurance Metrics – like Test Execution Reports, defect densities, open defect counts, Burn-Up and Burn-Down charts, etc. and present them to stakeholders. Build the DevOps, CI/CD processes for continuous integration, testing and deployment using different tools like Maven, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar. Implement the latest industry trends and introduce new testing tools to achieve the high code quality by following the coding standards, code reviews, source code management, and build processes. Interpret business requirements and crystallize stories and acceptance criteria for implementation. Identify risks and develop contingency plans in anticipation of test automation issues. Optimize and improve testing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Lead testing efforts for large-scale projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent education in Information Technology, Engineering or a related field along with one year of experience in the Software Industry.
