Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an IT Support Technician for a contract role through January 2026 (with potential to extend). This position is 100% on-site in Boston and requires strong internal client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Image and deploy 4-6 laptops daily using SCCM, including data transfers from old to new Lenovo machines.
- Conduct weekly walkarounds (primarily Monday mornings) to ensure offices/desks are fully equipped and IT-ready.
- Manage laptop inventory in ServiceNow, including decommissioning devices and submitting/monitoring repair requests.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, software installations, and other IT support tasks as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SCCM imaging and deployments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT inventory systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
