Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician 2
Must Haves:
- 2+ years hands on machine/equipment maintenance experience
- Highschool Diploma or GED, or equivalent
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting/repair experience
- Experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or machining environment
- CNC machine experience
- Experience working with tools – hand tools, power tools, measurement tools etc.
- Able to work independently
Plusses:
- CNC machine experience
- Experience with pneumatic/air pressure systems
- Forklift Experience or Certification
- Experience coordinating equipment repairs
- Documenting maintenance work in a system
- Strong mechanical background in a production/machining environment
Description:
We’re looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment. This person will work on both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and help keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
The role will involve troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, working with outside vendors when needed, and documenting maintenance work. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on and working around CNC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment
- Perform unscheduled maintenance and equipment repairs as needed
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs, service, and replacement parts when needed
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Work with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and forklifts
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
- Help identify equipment issues before they turn into larger problems
- Respond to occasional after-hours/on-call repair needs
