Senior Workday Technical Lead

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Workday Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and support of our Workday platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Workday, strong leadership capabilities, and a collaborative spirit to lead integrations, configurations, and enhancements across various Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Recruiting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Workday modules.
- Manage end-to-end Workday integrations including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (WWS).
- Serve as the primary Workday technical subject matter expert (SME) and point of contact for internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Workday developers and analysts.
- Collaborate with functional HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and security through effective auditing, monitoring, and error resolution processes.
- Manage Workday releases, regression testing, and change control processes.
- Design and maintain technical documentation, integration architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and integration issues.
- Continuously evaluate new Workday features and recommend improvements aligned with business goals.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of Workday experience, with 2+ years in a technical lead or senior technical role.
- Deep understanding of Workday’s architecture, APIs, and integration tools.
- Proven experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, PECI/CCW, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM and at least one of the following: Payroll, Financials, Time Tracking, or Recruiting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
