Shift: 7am-4pm M-F
Duration: 12+ month contract
The Systems Engineer applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to support the analysis, design, development, and verification of complex systems and system-of-systems solutions. This role contributes to the integration of technical, functional, and program elements to ensure performance, compatibility, and mission success.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and analysis of system architectures and solutions across the program lifecycle.

Support requirements definition by evaluating customer and operational needs, and translating them into system performance specifications.

Contribute to the integration of physical, functional, and program interfaces to ensure system compatibility.

Perform trade studies and analyses to optimize system and system-of-systems architectures.

Support analyses addressing affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, security, certification, product assurance, and other specialty engineering factors.

Assist in applying best practices and methodologies to verify compliance and ensure mission success.
Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.

2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Desired Skills/Experience:
-
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, tools, and concepts.

Experience using DOORS or comparable requirements management tools.
