We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support production operations by integrating contractual and company quality management requirements into proposals, program processes, and documentation. This role is responsible for developing quality metrics, design and production certification plans, and ensuring compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory standards. The engineer will conduct supplier capability assessments, process validations, and participate in design and production reviews to ensure quality attributes are built into products.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and quality standards are met

Perform material review dispositions for non-conformances

Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions

Conduct benchmarking to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved

Develop and maintain quality metrics, certification plans, and related documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to read and retain complex specifications; proficiency in blueprint reading and CAD systems

Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills; advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Manufacturing experience (composites preferred; automotive or large-scale fabrication acceptable)

Excellent technical writing skills for clear documentation and reporting

Experience with statistics and data analysis; ability to work with large datasets (programming/database search experience is a plus)

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree and ASQ Quality Engineer certification required
