A leading retail and pharmacy chain is seeking a Desktop Support professional to provide in-person technical assistance to end users across multiple locations. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing Active Directory tasks, and supporting mobile and Apple devices. Candidates should have a strong customer service mindset and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, walk-up service desk environment. This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for extension or conversion based on performance.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a desktop support role providing in-person end user support
- 3+ years working in a Windows 10 and Office 365 environment
- 3+ years of experience with Active Directory (password resets, adding/deleting devices)
- Ability to troubleshoot common Windows issues (e.g., BSOD, connectivity problems)
- Strong customer service and communication skills; people-first mentality
Bonus Skills:
- A+ or similar certifications
- Experience supporting Apple devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone)
- Mobile device support (iPhone, Android, iPad)
