Location: Hybrid Media, PA – 2 days on site per week
We are seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps engineer to lead initiatives across Azure and AWS environments. This role focuses on infrastructure engineering, cost optimization, and improving cloud operations through automation and best practices. You will collaborate with application teams, perform assessments, and implement recommendations to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS
- Drive DevOps initiatives, primarily from the infrastructure perspective, including application deployment support
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures by eliminating redundancies and unused services
- Conduct environment assessments and apply recommendations from Microsoft and other vendors
- Analyze trends and propose improvements to optimize performance and reliability
- Ensure methodical resolution of recurring issues and implement long-term fixes
Required Skills
- 8+ years of cloud engineering experience across Azure and AWS (primarily Azure)
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience working with application teams
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Scripting experience and solid cloud engineering background
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and implement permanent solutions
