We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead engineering activities across the full lifecycle of complex technical systems. This role involves planning, design, integration, validation, and operational support, with a strong focus on translating customer and user requirements into scalable, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical planning and systems engineering activities from concept through deployment, operation, and retirement.
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements.
  • Perform cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses to guide technical and business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and analyze computer systems and software solutions based on user needs and system specifications.
  • Apply systems analysis methodologies to evaluate hardware, software, and overall system functionality.
  • Partner with users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and define system specifications.
  • Translate customer and product requirements into complete system architectures while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies to evaluate design alternatives.
  • Allocate system requirements and define interfaces between hardware, software, and subsystems.
  • Ensure solutions are logically structured, technically sound, and aligned with operational and performance objectives.

Required Skills

  • REQUIRED: Top Secret Security Clearance
  • 1+ year of systems engineering experience.
  • Systems Engineering Expertise: Strong knowledge of full lifecycle engineering processes, including requirements analysis, design, integration, and validation.
  • Technical Planning & Architecture: Ability to develop system architectures and allocate requirements across hardware and software components.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in functional analysis, trade studies, and risk assessments.
  • Integration & Verification: Experience with system integration, testing, and validation methodologies.
  • Software & Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with computer systems, software development principles, and hardware interfaces.
  • Modeling & Simulation: Understanding of systems modeling tools and techniques.
