We are seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to plan, execute, and maintain integration and testing solutions for complex systems. This role ensures that internally developed and commercial components are fully integrated, tested, and validated against technical, schedule, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration and test solutions for in-house developed and COTS components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Translate customer and contractual requirements into effective system integration and test strategies.
  • Define functional and technical specifications, standards, and test criteria to support system integration.
  • Resolve hardware and software interface issues and define input/output parameters across system components.
  • Ensure end-to-end integration of systems and subsystems in alignment with technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Develop, review, and derive testability requirements to support effective system validation.
  • Create and lead the execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, schedules, and test cases.
  • Coordinate integration and system testing activities across programs, teams, and partner organizations.
  • Analyze test results and produce detailed subsystem- and system-level validation and verification reports.
  • Document defects and discrepancies and support root-cause analysis.
  • Perform integration and regression testing to validate fixes and confirm system performance after changes.

Required Skills

  • REQUIRED: Top Secret Security Clearance
  • 1+ year of experience
  • Experience integrating complex hardware and software systems.
  • Strong knowledge of verification and validation processes, including regression testing.
  • Requirements Analysis: Ability to translate customer and contractual requirements into technical specifications.
  • Interface Management: Skilled in resolving hardware/software interface issues and defining I/O parameters.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Documentation: Competence in producing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with test automation tools, scripting languages, and system modeling techniques.
