Location: Hybrid Wayne, PA (2 days/week on site to start and then 1-2 days every other week on site)
We are seeking a skilled Middleware Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable, resilient middleware platforms that enable seamless system integration across the enterprise. This role focuses on modern middleware technologies, containerized platforms, and automation to support high‑availability, high‑performance application environments.
Required Qualifications
* Strong experience with middleware technologies, including messaging systems (such as MQ), or Java‑based middleware.
* Hands‑on experience designing and supporting APIs, including API gateways and lifecycle management tools
* Solid experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift in enterprise environments
* Strong Docker and containerization experience
* Advanced scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation and operational efficiency
* Understanding of integration patterns, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
* Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‑tier systems and resolve production issues effectively
