Location: Hybrid Hartford, CT ( 3 days/week on site)
The Salesforce Production Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of Salesforce platforms in a production environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and delivering configuration and code-based solutions to support business operations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Salesforce development experience and thrives in a fast‑paced support environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support for Salesforce applications, including incident investigation, resolution, and prevention
* Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term corrective solutions
* Support and enhance Salesforce configuration and customization, including objects, flows, validation rules, and automation
* Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to address production issues and enhancement requests
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Apex, LWC, JavaScript, integrations, and declarative components
* Partner with business users, administrators, and development teams to understand issues and translate them into technical solutions
* Participate in release support, hotfix deployments, and post‑deployment validation
* Document production issues, resolutions, and preventive measures to improve platform stability and support processes
Required Qualifications
* Salesforce Platform Developer Certification (required)
* Agentforce Specialist Certification (required)
* Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce configuration and customization
* Proven experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript
* Experience supporting Salesforce in a production environment, including incident and defect management
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and problem resolution
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
