Location: Remote EST
Duration: 3-4 month contract
Hours: 40 hrs per week M-F daytime
We are seeking a Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise cloud environments. This role will focus on building secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and supporting cloud migration initiatives while leveraging infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure landing zones to support enterprise-scale cloud adoption.
- Architect and deploy Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions, including Virtual Networks (VNets), Application Gateways, virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
- Lead and support enterprise migrations to Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure and scalable cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources.
- Create automation and operational scripts using PowerShell to streamline cloud management and deployments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to implement cloud governance, security controls, and networking standards.
- Provide consulting support to enterprise clients and internal teams on Azure architecture best practices and optimization strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with third party vendors.
- Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including networking, compute, storage, and application delivery.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and cloud operations.
- Experience designing Azure landing zones and enterprise networking architectures.
- Proven experience supporting or leading Azure cloud migrations.
