Beacon Hill Solutions Group is seeking power distribution engineers to support electric utility distribution design projects. In this entry‑level role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience developing construction work packages for overhead and underground power systems, working closely with experienced engineers and project teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform basic engineering calculations (pole loading, transformer sizing, voltage drop, etc.)
- Develop construction packages using GIS, CAD, and utility work management systems
- Support joint‑use, street lighting, and system upgrade projects
- Participate in field visits to collect data and validate designs
- Help with materials lists, cost estimates, permits, and customer coordination
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial preferred)
- Interest in electric utility or infrastructure engineering
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
