Location: 5 days/week on site in Paoli, PA
The Linux Administrator will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of Linux-based systems across both on‑prem and AWS cloud environments. This role focuses on ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting cloud-hosted workloads and enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong Linux fundamentals combined with hands‑on AWS experience operating Linux systems in production environments.
Required Experience:
- 4+ years of Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience supporting Linux systems in AWS
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM
- Experience with system patching, monitoring, backup, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Experience supporting production systems with uptime and SLA requirements
