This role supports a long-term, large-scale infrastructure and federal site development project by ensuring accurate and timely project documentation and coordination. The Project Engineer will work in a structured, office-based environment during the early phases of the project, focusing heavily on document control, compliance, and preconstruction planning.
Team members play a critical role in maintaining organization, accuracy, and consistency across project documentation, helping ensure the project is positioned for successful execution once construction begins.
Comprehensive onboarding and training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track submittals, RFIs, and project documentation in an organized and timely manner
- Support development and maintenance of document control systems and tracking logs
- Review project specifications and ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements
- Assist in development of work plans, procedures, and preconstruction documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure documentation accuracy
- Maintain records related to procurement, change orders, and project updates
- Support communication and alignment across project stakeholders
- Accurately document updates, revisions, and project changes in internal systems
- Participate in project meetings and assist with administrative and coordination tasks

Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Project Engineer or Project Coordinator experience in construction or engineering environments
- Exposure to document-heavy or compliance-driven projects
- Experience working on federal, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
