Location: 5 days/week on site in Wayne, PA
Duration: 4-6+ month contract
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with experience supporting Windows 11 environments, device deployment, and system imaging. This role will provide hands-on support to end users, ensuring reliable workstation performance and a positive user experience across hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide deskside support for Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops
- Perform device setup, deployment, and refresh activities for new and existing users
- Execute system imaging and provisioning using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or similar platforms
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues including printers, monitors, and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts, access, and permissions within Active Directory
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and Office suite
- Respond to and resolve tickets using an ITSM tool (ServiceNow or similar) within defined SLAs
- Assist with asset management, inventory tracking, and device lifecycle processes
- Perform system updates, patching, and upgrades for Windows environments
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams and assist with root cause analysis
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of desktop support, helpdesk, or IT support experience
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows 11 environments
- Experience with system imaging and device deployment (SCCM, Intune, MDT, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking basics
- Familiarity with Office 365 support and common enterprise applications
- Experience working within a ticketing system in an SLA-driven environment
