Location: Hybrid King of Prussia, PA – 3 days/week on site
We are seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support and maintain a Windows server environment. This role will focus on building, rebuilding, and maintaining physical and virtual servers, as well as supporting clustered server environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot clustered server environments (failover clustering, high availability)
- Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, and system hardening
- Monitor server performance, capacity, and availability, proactively resolving issues
- Troubleshoot server, application, and infrastructure-related issues across Windows environments
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Create and maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams on deployments and enhancements
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration
- Hands-on experience building and rebuilding servers in enterprise environments
- Experience with clustered server setup and support (failover clustering, HA environments)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, hardware, and infrastructure layers
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Familiarity with patch management and system monitoring tools
