The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing and reviewing individual and trust income tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and trusts accurately and timely.
- Gather and analyze financial data, including income, deductions, and distributions related to estates and trusts.
- Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and clients to obtain necessary documentation and clarify tax issues.
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations, staying updated on relevant changes.
- Maintain organized records of all filings and correspondence.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the tax team.
