PAYROLL SPECIALIST
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately processing employee wages, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and maintaining payroll records. This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILIITES
- Process bi weekly (hourly employees) and semimonthly salaried employees) multi state payroll (2000+ employees)
- Verify timesheets and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Maintain and update payroll records
- Handle employee questions related to pay, taxes, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
- Coordinate with HR and accounting
- Assist with audits and year end reporting
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in payroll
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., iSolved)
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
