Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Allentown, PA

Our client in the Allentown, PA area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, assisting with financial reporting, and partnering with leadership on key accounting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end and year-end close process
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
• Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
