Duration: 3+ year contract
Key Responsibilities –
* Full‑Lifecycle Development – Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and services that enable space‑asset protection.
* Agile Collaboration – Participate in Scrum ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous‑improvement of team processes.
* Open‑Architecture Integration – Build modular, reusable components that conform to open‑architecture standards and facilitate integration with existing and future mission systems.
* Technical Leadership – Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive adoption of best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding, performance profiling).
* Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with domain experts to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
Qualifications –
- Proficiency in modern languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript; strong understanding of object‑oriented design and principles.
* Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue), and UI/UX best practices.
* Familiarity with pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (Git).
* Proven track record working in Scrum or Kanban teams; comfortable with iterative development and rapid feedback cycles.
* Active DOD Top Security Clearance with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years
