Our fully remote client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst II to support a rapidly growing in-house Encounter, Exchange, and Medicare business. This is a high-impact, contract-to-hire opportunity where you’ll work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and business leaders to drive critical healthcare initiatives. This candidate is a strong technofunctional analyst with solid SQL skills, Medicare/Encounter/Exchange experience, who enjoys solving complex business problems and influencing outcomes. Position Description
- Support Encounter, Exchange, and Medicare initiatives within a growing healthcare payer environment.
- Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, improve processes, and drive solutions.
- Analyze data, perform testing, and support issue resolution and regulatory reporting.
- Drive the process forward proactively and politely persistent to schedule calls to help move things along. Be prepared and push the envelope accordingly.
- Work with challenging stakeholders and drive projects forward independently
- Support Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.
Required Skills
- 6+ years Business Systems Analyst experience
- Strong Medicare Encounter Processing experience
- Encounter validation, reporting, and reconciliation
- Healthcare payer experience
- Strong SQL for data analysis, validation, and issue resolution
- Requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping
- UAT planning, test case creation, and defect management
