Location: Hybrid Fort Washington, PA (3 days/week on site required)
Duration: 6-12+ month contract
Responsibilities
- Investigate system issues and outages and lead root cause analysis
- Identify underlying problems rather than only addressing immediate symptoms
- Review outages and operational issues to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support and improve monitoring and observability
- Proactively identify reliability, performance, and operational concerns
- Participate in disaster recovery activities and planning
- Work within an ITSM environment and help improve operational processes
- Identify and communicate vulnerabilities, risks, and areas of concern
- Own and manage smaller technical projects from identification through completion
- Partner with technical and business teams during issue investigation and resolution
- Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and next steps
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant IT/SRE, infrastructure, production support, or systems operations experience
- Strong experience troubleshooting production systems and resolving complex technical issues
- Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and problem management
- Experience with monitoring and observability
- Experience supporting Windows environments
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Experience working with SQL
- Understanding of ITSM processes and practices
- Experience supporting or participating in disaster recovery
- Proven ability to independently identify issues and drive improvements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take ownership, speak up, and effectively communicate technical risks or concerns
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
